Google Removes 3 Popular Apps From Play Store That Were A Life-Threatening Data Looters

Some Apps are banned frequently from the google play store after being caught for breaching google’s policies. Recently, the International Digital accountability council (IDCA) drafted an issue to an android maker for which they have removed almost three apps mostly used by children from the Play store. According to the International Digital accountability council (IDCA), these three apps named Princess Salon, Number Coloring, and Cats & Cosplay were leaking important data to third parties of SDKs and were also breaching the google play store policies and illegally exporting user’s data.

IDAC president Quentin Palfrey told TechCrunch that “by observing our research about the activities has raised some serious issue within these illegal apps about data activities”.

Google also replied to the website that: “We may confirm that the applications listed in the article have been deleted. We have not been able to do so. Whenever we see an application that violates our policies, we act.

The data collected by these three apps were not identified until now. these gamify learning apps were used by kids. But several other apps like this are present and available for kids on the Google play store or Apple AppStore.

Apple and Google like companies are more stringent requirements from app developers when they come about the kid’s data. They handle the data of kids very carefully and securely and the third parties are unable to crack these kids’ data in many cases. The laws and regulations for use of technology by kids are very strict but not in many countries. Youtube kid’s programs provided by Google are very unique and new for kids.

This is not the first time Google has pulled applications from its play store. Previously, a variety of malicious applications were banned from the Play Store. Review the following list and delete it while it is on your phone.
