New Delhi: Bihar Boss Priest Nitish Kumar, who was in Delhi to work for “Resistance solidarity” in front of the 2024 Lok Sabha decisions, on Thursday said he would meet Congress break president Sonia Gandhi once she gets back to India from Italy.
Sonia Gandhi is in Italy after her mom Paola Maino kicked the bucket on August 27.
When Sonia Gandhi Ji gets back to the country, I will again go to Delhi to meet her. I have held gatherings with numerous Resistance chiefs during this new Delhi visit, Mr Kumar said.
Mr Kumar, who visited Delhi on Monday, got back to Bihar today. During his Delhi visit, the Bihar Boss Priest met heads of a few Resistance groups, including Congress pioneer Rahul Gandhi, Samajwadi Party pioneers Mulayam Singh Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav, CPM general secretary Sitaram Yechury and Delhi Boss Pastor Arvind Kejriwal.
He likewise met Indian Public Lok Dal pioneer Om Prakash Chautala and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) pioneer Sharad Yadav in Delhi. “It is vital that the Resistance groups meet up. There could be no greater face (of Resistance) than Nitish Kumar,” said Sharad Yadav.
